07 · FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questionsAbout decorative glass film

How does decorative film differ from solar control film?

Decorative film focuses on pattern, texture and screening views. Solar control film focuses on light and heat management. Check each material’s properties; decorative film should not automatically be assumed to provide equivalent heat control.

How does frosted film add privacy?

A frosted finish diffuses light and obscures detail through glass. Visibility depends on the film, lighting on both sides and distance from the glass. Review a sample under conditions similar to your space.

Can it be installed on existing glass?

It may be suitable for existing glass when the type and surface condition allow. The team should check damage, coatings and site conditions before confirming installation.

Can decorative film be replaced or removed?

Removal is generally possible, but the work and adhesive cleanup depend on the material, installation age and glass condition. Ask the team to assess it first.

Can I choose or request a custom-cut pattern?

Share your design or concept for review. Feasibility depends on the material, dimensions, detail and production method. The design must be checked before work is confirmed.

What should I prepare for a quotation?

Share glass photos, approximate dimensions, pane count, location, preferred style and timing. These details help the team understand the initial scope.
